I Like The Fact How Emako Changed Jamal's Way Of Being A Player , like at first he tried to be a player and everything but then he fell inlove with her .I Didnt Like How AT The End Of The Book Gina said "Did she look good" ..... Wow .... She's dead why would you ask that question

i agree with you kenia , Gina is dunb for asking that kindof question , what kind of person does that ! ? not me of course (;

Ayeeee c: i like that , Well i agree with you because i dont think its actually possible to change a player to a Faithfull man ! Only if a girl with a big heart can just like Emako . People with big hearts go through so much .

i have to agrre with you because even if she was dead Gina was still jealous no matter what she didnt give a crap and that could show you she gave less about Jamal she just cares about herself.

The book Emako Blue was an EASY read. For a small book I have to admit that it gave great details on its characters; such as their family, goals, and their point of view of the world around them. It also contained (At least to me) a whole cow pie of drama, though, in the best ways possible just to add the right amounts of suspense for its reader.

i wonder how emako's brother feels about him being sort of responsible for her death...hmmmm

Probably Dante, I guess he wouln't care, but in his heart he is not going to forget that and regret it in the future.

The book is a intresting book and i liked it and its just weired because everyone thought of her as a star and everyone thought she was going to be famous one of this days but a gang member took her life away......

The book Emako Blue was a very interesting book. I really liked this book . Emako Blue was this cool, chill back girl that had an amazing voice and everyone thought she was going to be this famous rich girl . She changed the way Jamal was, for example at first he wanted to play Emako but then he started to really like her ... more like love. The book was sad because Emako gets shot and she dies and thats just not cool man ;(

Huizar, Jacqueline said

at 11:33 pm on Apr 19, 2012

I agree with you, because Emako did changed Jamal from being a player.

Chavez, Karina said

I also like the way Emako didn't let Savannah ruin her life or make her feel like Savannah is controlling her. I think that Savannah should mind her own business and live her life. ! ;O

So i finished my book today and ohhh my this story is so touching ! almost cried in class when i was reading this . Emako died because of her pathetic brpther Dante smh -.- what a wonderful girl Emako was , she kept her head up no matter what came to her way . She inspired me in a way because she dreamed big!
RIP Emako Blue <333333333

Villalobos, Angie said

at 8:41 pm on Apr 18, 2012

Yes i agree with you Yayiss ^.^ because Savannah was always all up in her space. If i was Emako i would of clipped her by now lol , but Emako has a heart i don't think she would do something like that !!!!

Villalobos, Angie said

at 9:03 pm on Apr 18, 2012

A player turning into a Faithful man lol i wish that happened in real life , well Emako changed Jamal love life as you can say . Even though she didnt have any interest in him in the beginning and the middle and soso in the end . but kinda gave it a chance. Maybe giving a playaaa' a chance is worth it who knowws ? But at the end of the story Jamal finally expressed his feeling to his homie Eddie , i know if Emako never gotten killed he would of told he how he really felt about her and that she was the only girl he cared about , but he didnt know it was too late . . . </3
RIP Emako Blue <33333333

This was a really easy book to read and didn't take much thinking either. The story was great although I wish I could have changed the story a bit by making Emako survive the impact of the bullet. But if she would have lived, most likely people would have lost interest and stop reading the book.

Huizar, Jacqueline said

at 10:20 pm on Apr 19, 2012

I agree with you, that if Emako were to have lived, most likely people will lose interest.

Villalobos, Angie said

So i re-read this book today because i was like really board , well yeah ive notice that ever character had a problem in their life . Like Montarery her parent thinking she still a little girl , Emako living her life just with her mother and not having her dad my her side including her brother that she tries not to worry about because he life is practicably jacked up ! Eddie same situation ! Jamal being a playaa playaa not knowing what he wants in life , and Savannah being a Chesmosa and putting her nose up in everybody's bussiness but not just that it wass her parents that another reason why . Savannah parents (her mommaa & step popss) always where to busy for her , so she didnt have anything else better to do but be a female dog ! lol I mean i dont blame her she just was tryna stick up for "BESTFRIEND" . I think Gina was a female dog too , sorry but im just being straight up lol c:

Roldan, Jonathan said

at 9:01 pm on Apr 19, 2012

yeah i agree with Angie because savannah was really nosy and wouldn't leave Jamal alone and handle his business with emako. i don't like too read books but this was interesting and there wasnt anything else to do in 3rd period when I was done taking my test

Torres, Jasmine said

Emako was a good and easy book to read . I really enjoyed it . Though I think it's sad the way Emako died , i feel like she didn't deserve beacause she was a very talented and sweet girl . It seemed like she had a long future ahead of her self. I ask myself what would have happened if she weren't to die. Like, if Savanah would have still hated her if Emako were still to be alive?

Ek Sosa, Alex said

Emako Blue was a beastyy book and easy too read (:It was also interesting but didn't like when Emako died... Emako was a very talented girl that had a bright future ahead but it was sadly cut short.

I really enjoyed reading Emako Blue. The saddest part was when Emako died and what really got me mad was that her brother Dante just left the scene.Even though i dont like reading :) this book was intresting from the beginning

Cervantes, Kimberly said

Eh, the story was okay. It was a fast read, that's if you didn't get distracted or fall asleep. Words were kind of big too. And many of chapter of different POV. It wasn't that sad when Emako died, cause in the begin you know she gonna die.

Huizar, Jacqueline said

at 11:27 pm on Apr 19, 2012

Emako Blue was a excellent, fast reading book. What I hated that she shouldn't have died because she still had a goal to become a famous star, family to get them out of the streets of L.A., be a role model for her siblings, and friends like Monterey who's her best friend. It was all her brother Dante fault because OMG he was with the gang and shot her and he just left the scene like he didn't care. Dude if were him I would do the possible I can to save her because she is my sister, my family. She was the one who understood her friends problems. But, still this book was sad, yet interesting.

Huizar, Jacqueline said

at 11:37 pm on Apr 19, 2012

I agree with you, because Dante came back and screw her family up. Dante also didn't handle her death because he was such a coward.

I think the book is a interesting and motivational book, because it shows the triumph of a girl who was trying to get a better life.

Ramirez, Elizabeth said

My favorite character is Jamal, because he showed that for every palyer there is a girl that will help him settle down.

Ramirez, Elizabeth said

The book was really easy to read, because it was just a couple of pages but i went through it fast because it was really interesting.

Ramirez, Elizabeth said

My favorite part of the story is when Jamal bursts into tears because Emako, the girl he once thought he could play died. He got to know her and actually fell in love with her.
